SNU Seeks Research Accountability
Seoul National University (SNU) has presented guidelines to prevent research manipulation. The school has been trying to tighten ethical guidelines for research in the wake of a scandal involving the school’s former professor Hwang Woo-suk.

Prof. Kim Sung Hoon Finds New Protein
The team led by Kim Sung-hoon, a pharmaceutical professor at Seoul National University, found out that the AIMP1 protein, besides the previously known insulin and glucagon hormones, is a major contributor to controlling levels of blood sugar in animals.
