Installation of an on-site COVID-19 screening station in front of the Museum
The ‘Seoul National University Quick COVID-19 Molecular Screening’ station, originally situated only in front of Building 25-1 of the College of Natural Sciences and Building 301 of the College of Engineering, will be additionally installed between the College of Business Administration and the Museum, starting from September. This means that a total number of 3 screening stations will be running inside campus.

On Friday, August 27, we celebrated our 75th summer graduation ceremony online. Performances by the Department of Korean Music, an address by novelist and Minister of Culture Lee O-Young, and snippets of some of the graduating classes’ favorite school memories were featured on our livestreams.

What is the SNU rapid COVID-19 test? It is an SNU-led initiative to facilitate a more effective response to the spread of the coronavirus. Without outsourcing, the university has developed a point-of-care testing system that starts analyzing results within two hours after taking samples from patients.
