SNU’s 70th Anniversary Emblem

The emblem for the 70th anniversary of SNU in 2016 was designed using the school’s insignia as well as the numbers 7 and 0. The 7, located on the right side of the emblem, symbolizes SNU’s vision for the future. Meanwhile the 0, shaped as a sphere, represents the global community and values toward which this era is headed. The emblem represents SNU’s slogan: ‘Embrace the world. Pioneer the future.’ The color of the emblem itself is silver-gray, while the 70 has the bluish hues of an autumn sky. Sans serif typeface was used to further modernize the emblem.
