Eighty-seven pieces are included in Hockney's four main etching collections -- [A Rake's Progress], [Illustrations for 14 Poems by C.P. Cavafy], [Illustrations for Six Fairytales from the Brothers Grimm], and [The Blue Guitar] -- will be on display.
This is the first time that the works of Hockney, a leading artist of the 20th century, are being introduced in Korea. The exhibition will provide an insightful opportunity to encounter an aspect of Hockney's literary tastes through the first 20 years of his work.
Another exhibition opening at MoA is"Seven Fictions for the Art Gallery," which will be on display until Sunday, October 30.
