Kim Yeon-hee '89, an SNU gradaute of business administration and former partner of Bain & Company’s Seoul branch, was promoted to a global director for the Asia Pacific region on January 4th.

It is the first time the multinational consulting firm has chosen a Korean woman as a global director. A partner is equivalent to a vice president’s position. Kim’s main responsibility will be taking charge of Bain & Company’s Asia Pacific operations. Kim has never studied overseas, but chosen as Bain & Company’s first female partner in 2002.
