Frontier Physics Research Division, Department of Physics & Astronomy, Seoul National University, is inviting qualified researchers to apply for several postdoctoral research fellow positions funded by the Brain Korea 21 (BK21) Project of Korean Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
Appointed fellows are expected to work with one of the current faculty members involved in the BK21 program. Areas of research include particle and nuclear physics, astrophysics, statistical physics/condensed matter theory, optics/atomic physics, plasma physics, and several areas in condensed matter experiment and applied physics. Annual base salary will be 24,000,000 Won or higher, commensurate to the applicant’s experience and qualifications. The BK21 program will defray partial relocation expenses (up to 1,500,000 Won) for those who are qualified. Appointments are initially for one year, but extendible to additional one year.
