SNU Institute of Humanities HK Civilization Research Project Special Lecture

The HK Civilization Research Project of SNU Institute of Humanities will be hosting a special invitational lecture by a renowned foreign professor this coming Friday, November 15th, 2010 at three in the afternoon. The invitational lecturer, professor Hiroshi Marui of Tokyo University, is a worldwide scholar in the field of Indian philosophy. Professor Marui is even more special as she previously visited SNU through the Beseto Exchange Program. On this Korea visit, she will lecture on the subject of “The Meaning of Various World Views (siddhānta) and Outlook Established by Nyāya School of Philosphy in India”.
Professor Marui is currently a professor in the Graduate School of Humanities and Sociology in Tokyo University, Japan. He researches and educates students on themes related to Indian Philosophy. We invite all those who are interested in Indian philosophy and oriental culture.
