<An Excerpt from Movie Works (translated)>
“The Baader Meinhof Complex” is a documentary about the first generation of a German enemy faction with Baader and Meinhof as leaders. The camera becomes a passive observer lighting the decade of history of the organization. Suffocating revolutionary movement and Hippi lifestyles are demonstrated. The enemy earns the general public’s support in the early phase but from their continuous terrorism-acts, it becomes equivalent to a threat to the society. Even today, where any form of violence cannot be justified, the voices of criticisms remain strong.
