SNU Symphony Orchestra: Seoul Meets Mannheim

Relationship between SNU College of Music and Mannheim University College of Music was initiated from the first join concert in Germany in 2001. The joint orchestra performed Symphonie Fantastique of Berlioz and Ein Heldenleben of R. Strauss by conductor Lim and Klaus Arp. After this concert, two universities developed academic cooperation and student exchange agreements. The relationship has been strengthened in various concerts and events throughout the world including Korea, Germany and USA.
From the fall semester of 2005, both universities have offered an exchange student program and exchange faculty program with master classes and ensemble concerts. For further information about Mannheim University College of Music, please visit http://www.muho-mannheim.de .
