2009 College of Liberal Studies International Academic Symposium

Oct 08, 2009 - Oct 09, 2009

Established in 2009, Seoul National University’s College of Liberal Studies was designed to promote the development of creative and independent talent through an expansive basic education that encompasses classic and modern, across all fields of study. We unfortunately do not yet have enough experience in managing and maintaining such a college. In this respect, the College of Liberal Studies has decided to invite many scholars knowledgeable in creating educational curricula of liberal studies, including Dr. James Wright (former President of Dartmouth University) and hold an international academic symposium. We invite you to attend in order to share your experiences and visions regarding the development of future talent, and to have a chance to meet other international specialists.
* Please note that all SNU faculty who attend will be credited with 6 hours (3 hours daily) of education time.

▶ Date: Thursday, October 8th ~ Friday, October 9th, 2009.
▶ Venue: Center for Teaching and Learning (Bldg. #61, Rm. #320)
