[Empathy Through Music: Final Presentation]

"Communicating with Music, Connecting with the World"

Hello,

The "Veritas in Practice: MIDI Creation and Practical Training through Korean Traditional Singing and Lyrics Analysis" course, offered in the first semester of 2025 at Seoul National University's College of Liberal Studies, will host a final presentation screening to share students' creative outcomes from the semester.

Date: Tuesday, June 10, 2025, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Venue: Lobby (Open Space), 1st Floor, Building 61, Seoul National University College of Liberal Studies

Throughout the course, students have studied traditional vocal genres such as pansori, folk songs, and jeongga. By interpreting and analyzing lyrics, they have explored themes that transcend time, fostering a deeper understanding and connection across generations.

In addition, students have learned composition and editing techniques in computer music, as well as how to utilize AI technology for planning and creating music.

A total of 13 students have formed four teams to craft original music and video projects centered on the theme of "communication," aiming to bridge themselves and the world through artistic expression.

At this screening event, students will present their final works, showcasing the skills and knowledge they have gained throughout the semester. We warmly invite all interested individuals to attend and support these creative endeavors.
