Recruitment for Participants: 2025 Energy New Industry Thematic Research Group Information Session

The Energy New Industry Convergence & Innovation University Project Group at Seoul National University is hosting the “2025 Thematic Research Group Information Session.”

This session will serve as an opportunity to introduce the topics and operation plans of various labs before the start of the approximately year-long thematic research group program. Professors and graduate student mentors will present their respective research themes.

Students can freely consult with participating labs regarding the research content and schedule, and ask any questions they may have.

There will also be a pre-registration event, so we encourage all interested students to join!


1. What is a Thematic Research Group?

  • A program where students conduct in-depth research in the field of energy new industries under the guidance of professors and graduate student mentors within the Convergence & Innovation University framework.
  • Duration: April 2025 – December 2025
  • Application Deadline: Submit to each lab by April 11, 2025
  • Benefits of Participation:
    • Presentation opportunities at academic conferences
    • Networking with expert mentors
    • Research activity support (funding, etc.)

2. Information Session

  • Date & Time: Wednesday, April 2, 2025, 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM

  • Location: 5th Floor Foyer Hall (Lobby), Building 38, Seoul National University

  • Events:
    ① Pre-register and get free gimbap just by visiting one booth!
    ② Collect stamps at each booth and receive a special souvenir!
