The Gwanak-gu SAM Mentoring program is recruiting mentors to help mentees grow during the 2025 spring semester.
The 2025 spring semester SAM Mentoring program will be conducted entirely in person.
Application details are as follows:
1. Application Period: March 7 (Friday) 9:00 AM ~ March 19 (Wednesday) 6:00 PM (Matching on a first-come-first-served basis)
2. How to Apply: Visit http://sammentoring.com ▶ Sign up ▶ Apply for your desired class ▶ First-come-first-served matching
The "Apply" button on the Class List page of the SAM Mentoring website will be activated at 9:00 AM on March 7.
Mentors can only apply for one class (no duplicate applications).
3. Announcement of Successful Applicants: Unless there are disqualifications, matching will proceed as applied, and applicants will be notified via email or text by 6:00 PM on Friday, March 21.
4. Mandatory Orientation: March 21, 2025 (Friday) 6:00 PM–7:00 PM via Zoom (link will be provided later).
5. Mentoring Activity Period: March ~ June 2025 (varies by organization; please refer to the details for each class on the SAM Mentoring website).
6. Mentoring Benefits:
· Outstanding mentors will receive recognition from the Mayor of Gwanak-gu.
· Activity certificate issued for over 32 hours of activity.
· Education service credit certification for over 40 hours of activity.
· Social service credit certification for over 26 hours of activity.
· Recognized as volunteer work hours on “1365 volunteer portal” (education service credit and social service credit cannot be doubly recognized).
· Activity expenses such as material costs and snack costs, as well as volunteer scholarships, will be provided (please refer to the attached file and notices on the SAM Mentoring website).

Please Note:
If you wish to cancel your application or change your class after applying during the recruitment period, you must contact the operations office. Failure to do so may result in the class remaining unmatched, preventing mentees from participating in mentoring.
If disqualifying factors such as unilateral cancellation of mentoring or non-participation in mandatory orientation after mentor selection are confirmed, activity certification and following mentor recruitment may be restricted.
