This week’s speaker is Dr. Changseong Kang, a Senior Research Scientist at Walmart in the U.S. In this talk, Dr. Kang will discuss the role of AI—particularly large language models (LLMs)—in e-commerce, drawing on real-world examples from Walmart.

Dr. Kang earned his master’s degree in Computer Science from Pusan National University and received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Iowa State University. He spent over a decade at Yahoo Research working on search relevance using machine learning, and since 2021, he has been working at Walmart as a manager.
