[CSS} Recruitment for Technology-Society-Art Workshop Participants

Jan 14, 2025

Application Form: https://forms.gle/dJYy4zxzU7aDW5We9 (Apply by January 11th, Saturday)

We invite SNU students to join the workshop titled "Different Senses, Different Lives, Different Worlds: Sensing the Digital-Analog."

Where do we stand between the analog continuity of the natural world and the digital discontinuity of binary logic?

This workshop questions whether we overly focus on 'digital' in our world or dream of crafting a perfectly digital future. Are we striving to integrate humans, human production and labor activities, and non-human agents into a fully digital re-socialization, automation, and platform-based labor?

Participants will explore the digital-tech society we live in through various senses like sight, hearing, touch, and smell. Through this process, we’ll reflect on the conflicts, risks, biases, and inequalities inherent in our technological society. Together, we will document and reinterpret these issues and create tools to experience the digital-analog continuum through alternative sensory means using the zine-making process.
