The Interdisciplinary New Media Communications Research Center at Seoul National University (http://www.inmc.snu.ac.kr) hosts a colloquium series each semester under the theme "Shannon Meets Turing," exploring a hypothetical meeting of two revolutionary figures of the 21st-century technology era: Claude E. Shannon (founder of information theory) and Alan Turing (pioneer of AI and computer science).
We are delighted to invite Professor Eunsol Choi from NYU CS for this semester's third lecture, who will speak on retrieval in large language models.
