We are pleased to announce the opening ceremony of the CHU Chong Nam Creative Engineering Design Studio, located in Building #39, B2, on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.

The late Professor Chu Chong Nam pioneered the course “Creative Design Engineering,” an introductory robotics and manufacturing class for undergraduates, in 1993. He passionately taught this course for 27 years at a studio in Building 39.

After his sudden passing in 2019, the Hyunsong Foundation—established by his late father, CHU Chang Kyun—generously funded the course and remodeled the original studio.

With renovations now complete, we invite you to join us at this meaningful event as we honor Professor Chu’s legacy and celebrate the new studio.
