Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee
Established for the purpose of protecting and ensuring the ethical handling of laboratory animals used in animal experiments within the university, all research projects within the university that include the use of animals must be subject to deliberation by the Animal Experiment Ethics Committee.

Members
Comprised of 15 members or less appointed or commissioned by the university president (Currently 15 members, including five outside members as of 2020)
Committee chairman to be jointly elected among committee members
Function
Deliberate the ethical and scientific validity and approval of animal experiment plans.
Deliberate the appropriateness of production, introduction, management, experimentation, usage, and disposal of laboratory animals.
Check and evaluate the education and training of persons involved in animal experiments.
Check and evaluate the actual condition of animal experiment facilities management.
Any other matters regarding the ethical handling of laboratory animals that have been raised for evaluation by the university president or the committee chairman
