SNU Library lib.snu.ac.kr SNU Library VR Tour
The SNU Library holds the largest collection of materials in Korea, with over 5.3 million volumes of books and more than 320,000 types of academic journals and electronic journals. It consists of the main building, focused on academic materials, the Kwanjeong building, a space customized for users, and 9 branch libraries that are organically interconnected and operated jointly.
The SNU Library will continue to fulfill its mission to nurture global leaders with LikeSNU, a big data-based knowledge information platform that will serve as a map and compass for Seoul National University's intellect.

Access to the SNU Library
Registered users can use the S-Card or Mobile Pass, recognizable by the Automated Entrance System to enter the library.

For the Public
Main building book stacks: Issued at the library main building 2F security desk upon submission of an ID card.
※ This pass does not grant access to the computer lab or to Kwanjeong.
Main building reading room: One day pass for reading room 3B can be issued at the security desk at the entrance of reading room 3A upon submission of an ID card.
For the SNU Alumni
Alumni also can enter Kwanjeong building only as library members.

The SNU Library launched a fundraising campaign called the ‘Friends of the SNU Library’ in March 2012, in hope of library remodeling and construction of a new library.
Starting with a donation of KRW 60 billion from the Kwanjeong Educational Foundation, KRW 75 billion was raised through the participation of 5,376 people in the ‘Friends of the SNU Library’, Kwanjeong was completed in February 2015.
Now, the SNU Library is conductiong a fundraising campaign for remodeling of the main building. We would appreciate your interest and support.
