Cho Namyeong/The Former Sungshin Girls' High School teacher

Cho Nam-young, a former Sungshin Girls' High School teacher, graduated from the Department of Chemistry at Seoul National University and retired as a chemistry teacher upon reaching retirement age. After retirement, she established the "Jo Myung-won Scholarship Fund" in honor of her father at her alma mater, Seoul National University. As a teacher who dedicated her life to public education amid the turbulent history of Korea, she diligently saved throughout her life, hoping to convey a noble intention for her successors. Through this fund, she aspires that future generations can pursue their dreams without being hindered by financial constraints.

Cho Yeongsik/CEO, SDB Investments

Mr. Young-sik has been leading the domestic healthcare industry by developing various diagnostic products for infectious diseases such as Ebola, MERS, and SARS. Leveraging his expertise, he developed a rapid antigen test kit for COVID-19, becoming the first in the world to receive Emergency Use Authorization from the World Health Organization (WHO). Furthermore, he emphasizes the importance of developing and securing artificial intelligence technology for the advancement of the biotechnology industry. He has made significant contributions to improving the education and research environment for students at the College of Veterinary Medicine by donating to the university several times.

Kim Seongyeol/Dental Clinic(ContacEZ LLC Founder and CEO)

Jeon Huja/former president ContacEZ LLC and former faculty at Clark College

Kim Sung-yeol, both Jeon Huja, has been dedicated to serving the community since immigrating to the United States in 1975. He has consistently devoted himself to medical and volunteer activities, supporting dental teams providing care in underserved regions such as Africa, South America, and the Philippines by providing dental materials and travel expenses. Furthermore, he has established and operated a dental equipment company, striving to enhance the convenience for both dentists and patients. By donating profits from a lifetime of dedication to the Dental Research Fund, he has provided significant support for fostering future generations.

Lee Ju-yong and Choi Ki-joo/Chairman, KCC Information & Communication

In 2017, Mr. Lee Joo-yong and Mr. Choi Ki-joo pledged to donate approximately 60 billion won worth of personal assets to society in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the founding of KCC Information & Communications. Their pledge aims to carry on the aspirations of their ancestors and practice their lifelong beliefs. With this generous donation, they established the "Lee Joo-yong and Choi Ki-joo Cultural Center Remodeling Fund," envisioning Seoul National University as a hub for cultural and artistic promotion and a focal point for cultural exchange in the local community. This sponsorship will provide opportunities for both internal and external members of the university to cultivate a high level of cultural literacy.

Nam Seung-woo/Pulmuone Foundation Adviser

Mr. Nam Seung-woo served as the CEO and President of Pulmuone Co., Ltd. for 33 years, contributing to the globalization of Korean food. After retiring, he supports education on healthy eating and environmental education through the Pulmuone Foundation, a nonprofit organization. Recognizing the importance of investing in future academic generations, he donated a portion of his shares to Seoul National University in 2021. His support significantly expands the horizons of legal studies research and creates a systematic educational environment for students to explore truth and grow.
